Rules:

- The power gauge is now avaliable in the game.

- The charge phase is now avaliable in the game. The charge phase takes place AFTER the replenish phase. In this phase, you may take 1 card from your hand or attack discard pile and add it to your power gauge face up.

- Ultimates are to be played now by flipping over 3 light, medium and heavy attacks in your power gauge face down during your turn.

- You may search your deck or general discard pile for your ultimate card by flipping over 2 light, medium and heavy attacks in your power gauge face down during your turn.

- To parry, you must now flip over 2 cards of the matching subtype in your power gauge face down.

- The rulebook has been updated to include a clarifications page which goes over some parts that players have had confusion over

06/ 02/2023 - As of today, these changes shall take effect:

Clarification:

- “The Scrapyards“ only requires you to activate it once for it to be active for the rest of the battle. To deactivate it, the stage MUST be inactive or an outside card ability must deactivate it.

Rules:

- Ultimates ARE NOW played by having 25 or less HP and you must remove 2 Light, 2 Medium and 2 Heavy attacks and play the card in your attack zone. Resolve the ability and remove the card from the game UNLESS it’s ability DOES NOT RESOLVE, in which it is then put into the attack discard pile instead.

09/ 09/2022 - As of today, these changes shall take effect:

Rules:

- Clarification - You cannot look through your deck before, during or after you shuffle your deck, however, you may count the amount of cards you have from your deck with the backs facing up.

- Clarification - Setup step 1: Determine which player will play first in any way you and your rival deem necessary and fair.

(If no parties can decide, it is to be decided with a coin flip)

- Addition - Replenish Phase: Before the end of this phase, you may declare a Re-Draw by discarding your entire hand from the game and draw 5 cards.

- Clarification - Cards are identified by the symbol on the upper left corner symbol of the card, not necessarily the face of the card, however, the layouts are very important with identification in the case of attacks, having an extra text box for DMG values. Keep this in mind with different colored rarities and borderless cards.

- Clarification - Character cards: This is a card type that represents who you are playing as. These cards are typically gray in color with golden highlights on the left and right sides of the card and can be identified as such by an eyeball symbol on the upper left side of the card. You may activate your character ability during the Startup Phase once per turn by turning your card 90 degrees to the right unless otherwise specified, in which you would turn the card back to the upright position until their abilities cannot be resolved any further.

(I.E. Hyper-Man - Light Of Hope, 3 times per turn, you may discard 1 utility card to deal 3 DMG directly to your rival.).

- Clarification - Attack cards: This is a card type that represents how you attack your rival. These cards are typically red in color and can be identified with a fist symbol for Basic Attack Cards or an Explosion symbol for Special Attack Cards in the upper left corner of the card. These cards have a box in the lower left corner of the card which represents how much base DMG (Damage) your attack will do or underneath the name of the card if it is a borderless card. DMG will always be applied last after each attack is played after applying abilities first regardless of attack type. Basic and Special Attack Cards can only be played during your Attack Phase.

- Addition - Ultimates: You may also discard your ultimate from your hand from the game to negate the abilities of another ultimate in play.

- Addition - Counter Attacks: you may only play Counter-Attack cards in response to attack cards being played or when the ability would trigger.

- Clarification - Counter Cards: You may also play these cards as basic attack or utility cards if you so desire and apply the proper rules to them as if they were basic attack or utility cards.

- Addition - Critical attacks: You may remove this card from the attack discard pile to parry an attack.

- Clarification - Minions: If a minion deals DMG from an ability, it is not considered an attack, but rather, a character ability.

- Clarification - Character Types: These are located in the top left corner of a character card, above the card name or underneath the character symbol of a borderless version. This is WHAT specifically your character is (human, super human, alien, robot, cyborg, monster (can get specific), demon, angel, kaiju, giant, etc.)

- Clarification - Discarding: To take a card from your hand or wherever stated in an ability and place it into the General Discard Pile regardless of card type. If it is not stated in the card, you will always discard from the hand to the general discard pile.

- Addition - Parry: You may do this as well by discarding a critical attack from your attack discard pile.

- Addition - Vampirism: Vampirism is an ability that allows you to gain HP equal to the final amount of DMG you deal with each attack.

- Clarification - Tokens: If you have a card that requires X amount of tokens, it is requiring that amount OR MORE.

Cards:

- All Basic Attacks with "Crouching" or "Jumping" in it's name: "You must discard 1 card from your hand with "Crouch" or "Crouching" in it's name in order to play this card.

- Poppa Mike's Bar: Civilians deal an additional 3 DMG with attacks against non-civilians.

- Reggie's Bag: You may discard 1 card to gain 1 slugger token.

- Uppercut: Increase the DMG of this attack by 1 for every card in your rivals hand.

- Energy Crusher: Increase the DMG of this attack by 1 for each non "Energy Token" on your character. Increase the DMG of this attack by 2 for each "Energy Token" on your character.

- Steel Knuckle: Deal 2 DMG directly to your rival if they are not a robot.

- Flying Dragon Kick: If you have 2 Dragon Token or 2 Tiger tokens, or a combination of the 2, target 1 utility card on the field and destroy it.

- Iris Blast: You may remove 3 utility cards from any of your discard piles and if you do, target 1 utility card on the field and if you do, destroy it.

- Ultimate cards: Added clarification on who can activate the ability, otherwise, any character can.

- Forward Dash: If you play this during your turn, the current attack cannot be countered. If you played this during your rivals turn, the next attack they play is reduced by 5.

- Soco Dos Deuses: Deal 100 DMG. Reudce the DMG of this card by 12 for each token attached to your character.

- Valaris, Diabolic Warlock: Once per turn, you may discard 1 attack card. Deal DMG equal to the amount of DMG on that attack card plus 1 for every attack card in your attack discard pile. You cannot attack the turn you activate this ability.

- Master Byakko, Murderer of Hope: Vampirism only applies to the first 2 attacks you play each turn.
